ESC key inconsistently recognized in drone/phone views -Beef

Version: 1.18.1-Main
Platform/OS: Steam - Windows 11
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open various phone apps and/or drone mode
2. Press ESC to back out of app/drone mode
Expected: Game should always back out to previous screen
Actual: ESC does not seem responsive and does not always back out to previous screen. Pressing ESC several times rapidly has greater chance of succeeding.

I'm noticing it outside of phone/drone now too. It seems more frequent when at lower FPS maybe.
