If you are referring to the blueprint, there isn't actually one to select in the drone settings or crafting menu. There is a spot near the road, on the other side of the trees near your tent where it is preset to go. If you already know about all that and you have the rebar highlighted in your hot bar and it still won't let you place it on the frame, I didn't have that issue.
