I'm not judging if you want to sit on your friend's lap, but it's a bit awkward.
If same seat situation, sometimes talking to one gets them to stand up. If they are both already standing in the same space e.g. at the farmers market, then talking to them doesn't change their actions.
Nothing serious but could affect if you need to talk to one character specifically?
