Battling and I was supposed to receive an Onyx after finishing the fight. It was a new item however and my inventory was full. Instead of it being dropped on the floor it disappeared.

Perhaps this is coupled with the bug of continuing to mine with a full inventory items like to disappear through the floor if they can't go into your inventory.
