Hi! Sorry you ran into some bugs. 1. for this one, make sure you have the option selected to select/destroy buildings turned on in build mode. It is on the right hand side of the screen. It was a recent change to make it off by default. People kept moving and deleting structures by accident. 2. This is a known bug they are working on. good news is that no other quests rely on that quest. So you will not be locked out of any quest progression by not completing it. Till it is patched.
